Success is a system and not a secret is what I have learned through Napoleon Hill and the Foundation that was created in his name. I have learned that like attracts like and that thoughts become things because what we think about we become. Through our imagination we create plans and put them into action. We go the extra mile in all our interactions. Our motto is, “Do it Now!” The foundational principles for outstanding success are:

1. Definiteness of Purpose
2. Mastermind Alliance
3. Applied Faith
4. Habit of Going The Extra Mile

Napoleon Hill believed in a Master Mind that used the collective consciousness of its members to actively solve problems and create new ideas and plans. It begins with a definite purpose rendered with better service than that for which one is paid, done in a positive mental attitude, and with a creative imagination that is applied with faith. Remember, faith without action is merely a wish.

A definite purpose backed by applied faith, is a form of wisdom, and wisdom in action, produces positive results.

Decide now what you want out of life and what you will give in return for it. Begin right now where you stand. Then as you progress other and better means will be revealed to you.

If you do not have a definite purpose then make your definite purpose to find your definite purpose, date it, and sign it. Dr. Joe Dudley used a 6 hour reading program of Think and Grow Rich once a week to create a very successful international company known as Dudley, Inc.

Napoleon Hill, through his twenty-odd years of creating this philosophy, noticed that 5% of the population that were succeeding had a definite purpose and a definite plan to achieve their aim.

If you are a true student of Hill’s philosophy, become a master by teaching it to others. Thereby you guarantee your compensation in advance. It is well know that the “teacher” learns the lesson better than the students. So, come join us in the Mastermind Online and become a contributor. Experience the exponential growth you can tap. Have faith in the fact that you can give people the opportunity and the knowledge to improve their lot in life just by sharing what you know. This can be profoundly liberating. The Mastermind Online membership desires to put faith into practice so that we may inspire others to take control of their destinies. What a beautiful world it would be if we all had a labor of love to follow.

Through the habit of going the extra mile you can attract to you whatever you desire. Help enough people get what they want and you will automatically get what you want.

Fundamentals of Applied Faith

  1. ACTION! Action cures fear. Nothing great has ever been achieved without the Habit of Going the Extra Mile.
  2. Positive Mental Attitude free from negative emotions
  3. Recognition of the fact that every adversity carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit and no temporary defeat is a failure until you consider it so.
  4. Recognition of the intelligence that gives order to every thing in the universe.
  5. Let your imagination see yourself in the possession of your definite purpose.

Faith is a positive mental attitude in action!

Nobody has ever accomplished anything, never created anything, never devised any plans or developed a definite chief aim without the use of imagination ! Everything ever created or built was first mentally visioned, through imagination. In this philosophy you learn through your imagination to take old, well-known ideas or concepts, or parts of ideas, and combine them with still other old ideas, and out of that combination create something that seems to be new. This is the major process of invention… Ideas are valuable in any business, and the one who strikes out to cultivate the power of imagination, out of which ideas are born, will sooner or later find himself headed toward financial success backed with tremendous power.

Thomas Edison is a perfect example. It was a known fact that light could be created by applying electrical energy to wire, to heat it to a white heat. The problem was how to control the heat. After years of thinking Edison remembered the method of burning charcoal. He finally understood that cutting off oxygen to a heat source would keep it completely from burning up. With this knowledge in mind, Edison created a vacuum tube and placed it over the wire. This is your modern light bulb.

To cultivate your imagination so it will eventually trigger ideas on its own initiative you must keep a record of all useful, ingenious, and practical ideas, you see in use in other lines of work outside of your occupation. I would recommend a pocket sized moleskin or index cards.

This procedure is practical because it has been followed successfully by some of the best known leaders and business leaders.

“Everything you can imagine is real”
~ Pablo Picasso

The dreamer who creates practical ideas must place back of these ideas:

It is your business to succeed in life and yours alone! How you define success is your call.

Anyone who can create plans and ideas that will cause the number of patrons of any business to constantly increase, and who is able to send all the patrons away satisfied, is well on his way to success. Regardless of the venture.

“Visualize this thing you want. See it, feel it, believe in it. Make your mental blueprint and begin.”
Robert Collier

It’s been said that what you see is what you get in life. Never were truer words spoken. After all, in order to get anywhere truly worth going, you’ve got to first see yourself getting there.

You’ve got to picture yourself having, doing or being whatever it is you want to have, do or be before you can make it happen. That’s precisely why the ability to clearly see your goals, to see them as if they were right there in front of you, is the first step towards their attainment.

“The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend.”
Henri Bergson

The most successful people have always been the select few who could clearly picture where they wanted to go and even more importantly, how they were going to get there. And we’re not talking about a fuzzy or out of focus picture, but a crystal clear image they consistently hold in their minds. These razor sharp images are so distinct, so clear, so unbelievably real that they can almost reach out and touch them.

This ‘seeing’ side of the success equation is not at all uncommon. As a matter of fact, virtually every person on earth holds mental pictures of what they want to accomplish in their minds on a daily basis. But there’s a big difference between seeing what you want and actually making it happen. And it’s that difference that makes or breaks the majority of us.

“I think there is something, more important than believing: Action! The world is full of dreamers, there aren’t enough who will move ahead and begin to take concrete steps to actualize their vision.
W. Clement Stone

There’s never going to be a shortage of daydreamers who routinely engage in fantasy and wishful thinking. Oh sure, they can clearly see the world they wish they lived in, but that’s about as far as it goes. Rather than get busy turning their dreams into something real, something tangible, their dreams remain only dreams.

On the other hand, the most successful folks you’ll ever see get busy turning these pictures into reality. While they conceive great ideas just like everyone else, they take it to the level by believing they can make them come true. And I mean really, really believing it deep down where it counts. Most importantly, they act. They do whatever it takes to make their dreams come true. conceive it, believe it and then work to achieve it. And so should you.

“The mind moves in the direction of our currently dominant thoughts.
Earl Nightingale

Long term success is not some miraculous or mystical event we stumble into, but something that occurs when we persistently act on our dreams – and act with purpose, passion and determination. As hard as it is for many to believe, success happens when we make it happen.

Instead of allowing even one more day to slip through your hands, why don’t you get busy and act on your dreams right now? Isn’t it about time that you made those magical dreams you hold within can come true. You bet it is! And yes, you can do it; it just takes the courage to act.

You need to grab those things you want to achieve in your life and embrace them with all of your might. And then throw your entire heart and soul into making them happen. A dream come true life awaits; it’s all up to you. Will you wait or hesitate as you watch your dreams fade from sight or will you make something happen right here and right now?

It’s your move – so make it.

The Bottom Line: You’ve got to conceive it, believe it, then go out and achieve it.

Have a heart-to-heart talk with yourself and honestly assess whether you have any problems you’re no longer attempting to resolve only because you have accepted as “fact” that they cannot be solved, whether you are living out circumstances in your life that are unfufilling or even demeaning to you because you have accepted as fact that you cannot alter them. Reconsider! Apply current rational thought to challenge these beliefs and then use your imagination to “shop around” and try out new and different possibilities.

  • Why do you believe that you can’t?
  • Is this belief based on an actual fact or on an assumption or false conclusion?
  • Is there any rational reason for such a belief?
  • Could it be that I am mistaken in this belief?
  • Would I come to the same conclusion about some other person in a similar situation?
  • Why should I continue to act and feel as if this were true if there is no good reason to believe it?

Law-of-Success – Lesson 2 – Definite Chief Aim

thinkandgrowrichaction1.jpg

  1. Determine the exact amount of money you desire
  2. Determine what you intend to give in return for this money.
  3. Establish a definite date by which you intend to possess all this money.
  4. Create a definite plan for achieving your desire and begin immediately to take action.
  5. Write out a statement of the time limit, what you intend to give, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate this money.
  6. Read your written statement aloud twice a day, in the morning and evening. Put all the emotion you can behind this as you begin to see yourself clearly in the possession of what you desire.

Imagination is creative soul power that turns dreams into reality. Every other lesson in the Law of Success is made possible through the constructive use of imagination. Start by imagining yourself being imaginative. Begin by carrying around a small notebook with you to write down ideas that come to you as often as possible. You must learn to focus your imagination and act on the right ideas that you develop. For this to work at its best, the six basic fears should be confronted and a chief aim must be decided.
