Law of Success – Lesson 6 – Imagination
“I call that man idle who might be better employed.” ~Socrates
Imagination is creative soul power that turns dreams into reality. Every other lesson in the Law of Success is made possible through the constructive use of imagination. Start by imagining yourself being imaginative. Begin by carrying around a small notebook with you to write down ideas that come to you as often as possible. You must learn to focus your imagination and act on the right ideas that you develop. For this to work at its best, the six basic fears should be confronted and a chief aim must be decided.
Six Basic Fears:
Poverty Old Age Loss of Love Ill Health Death Criticism
“The future belongs to those who belive in the beauty of their dreams.” ~Eleanor Roosevelt
We build or future, thought by thought
For good or ill, yet know it not
Yet so the universe was wrought.
Thought is another name for fate;
Choose, then, thy destiny and wait, For love brings love and hate brings hate
~ Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Learn to translate your vision into action. Imagination is the ablility to see things a little different than the next person. Never dismiss an idea as being to crazy and far-fetched. Write it down immediately! Tip: If you desire something thatt requires the help of someone else, make sure the strongest and most compelling advantages are presented to the other person in a clear and provacative manner.
Only passions, great passions, can elevate the soul to great things. ~Denis Diderot
Nothing in life is more exciting and rewarding than the sudden flash of insight that leaves you a changed person – not only changed, but for the better. ~Arthur Gordon
